I started out small
But I know I'm getting bigger
As big as I am I'm still not very tall

But I'm getting bigger now
Much larger than I could imagine
And soon I can see past the tops of these trees

Well i know that it's hard to be a big ape
But the thought of exploring a new land makes me salivate
So will I stay here at home
Where at least I know I'm safe
And I'll never have to worry
I guess that's just okay with me

So here I am
I'm liked by all of my new friends
They're pretty cool but I still feel so alone

But then there's this girl
Much cuter than I could imagine
And all I can think is that she's gotta be for me

Well i know that it's hard to be a big ape
But the thought of being without her is just more than I can take
So will I stay here at home
Where at least I know I'm safe
And I'll never have to worry
I guess that's just okay with me

Now I'm chained up
Displayed for all of the world to see
I'm all alone and I admit that I am scared

I want to break free
But it isn't home where I want to be
All that I want is for her to be with me

But I'm hoping by climbing this building
it will lead to my escape
